Fancy Nancy grows up

Fancy Nancy Grows Up" is a concept inspired by the beloved children's book character, Fancy Nancy, coming-of-age while still having love her for elegance and extravagance. The project aims to explore the evolution of Nancy's style from her playing dress up to a sophisticated, yet still whimsical, adult Nancy who still likes to experiment with her clothing.

For this project i wanted to play with ruffles because Fancy Nancy loved her ruffles. I thought it would be fun to add a corset to my dress and thats how I incorporated style lines. The print I used is a fun floral print which captures Nancy’s love for prints.
